A young man in High Wycombe, UK has launched his own Cartridge World store at just 20 years old, the global refilling franchisor reports.

Bapander Singh Khanej opened the store on High Wycombe high street with two sales assistants after being inspired when he dealt with the franchise through his previous store. After a short but successful business career, he has high hopes for the new venture.

Khanej achieved a distinction at Uxbridge College, where he studied for a National BTEC in Travel and Tourism and a BTEC in Business and Finance. He moved on to open his own convenience store, Shop to Save, in West Drayton, which enjoyed strong sales for its first 18 months.

He came to be familiar with Cartridge World after doing business with them through his store, and grew to be impressed by their business model and products. He was welcomed to the team after he inquired at the head office.

Khanej commented: “Opening a franchise is a completely new challenge for me, but with my previous experience and passion for delivering excellent customer service, combined with my qualifications, I feel that I am well equipped to grow the business over the next couple of years.”

Cartridge World has continued to expand its presence around the world, with more than 1,650 locations globally. The franchise operates over 200 stores in the UK.
