Layoffs in HP sales centre in Boise

As-yet undetermined number of employees laid off in Idaho site.

Several employees at the HP centre in Bois, Idaho, reported for KBOI 2News that workers had been laid off at the campus. The site opened in 2005, operating as a sales centre for hpshopping.com and as a major research and development hub, and employed over 200 people within the initial months.

It is currently unclear how many employees will be or have been laid off. An HP spokesperson spoke with KBOI 2News, stating “we are declining to comment”.
