Franchise opens first branch in Indian state

Cartridge World have opened their first store in the Indian state of Nagaland, located in Kohima. The grand opening took part on 2 November, and attended by CEO of South Asia Cartridge World Naveen Rakhecha.

Rakhecha commented on the presence of a Cartridge World will improve the refilling standard in India, which is predominantly done through “drilling and refilling”: “this can not only severely damage the cartridge but also the printer. But at Cartridge World, we use cartridge specific printer manufactures – like ink, toner, parts and recharging processes to ensure that our customers gets printer manufacturer-like output, both in print quality as well as number of prints.

“We are very happy to bring environmentally friendly services to the environmentally friendly state of Nagaland.”

The Nagaland franchise will be owned and operated by Villar Solo, who added: “We are pleased to be associated with Cartridge World […] Our team has received training in Mumbai and are all geared up for the challenging and exciting new venture. We will make a difference to the customers by offering them world-class quality, service and products”.

Cartridge World India has previously been recognised as the “Innovative Franchise Model and Business Concept of the Year” at the Economic Times Retail Awards 2010.
