Sensient announces Swiss ink factory expansion

$22 million to be invested in Morges site.

Ink manufacturer Sensient Technologies Corporation has announced plans to invest $22 million (€16 million) in the digital ink capabilities and production at its Morges, Switzerland site. The expansion is intended to accommodate “greater growth in its digital inks business”.

The investment includes the expansion of the plant’s currently production capabilities, as well as the integration of new technology with current applications in industry inks, including Sensient’s ElvaJet inks product line.

Sensient plan a series of investments to expand their global capabilities in sublimination and pigmented inks, along with pigment dispersions.
