Konica Minolta launches two new laser A4 MFPs

Dec 21, 2011

The OEM has released the bizhub 36 and 42 printers as “central communication hub[s]” for offices.

Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK)  announced the launch of the two new monochrome MFPs for businesses, noting that the machines include “print, colour scanning, copy and optional fax capability”.

The OEM added that for organisations “requiring occasional A3 output” the new MFPs provide A3 output as well, giving customers an A4 device “capable of occasional A3 printing”.

The machines are designed with low total energy consumption (TEC) features, and are certified under the Blue Angel and Energy Star ecolabels, and also include synchronicity with the OEM’s PageScope Mobile app for Apple iOS devices, which allows mobile printing from any compatible iOS device straight to the devices.

Jonathan Wilson, Market Development Manager for Konica Minolta Business Solutions (UK), stated: “The all new bizhub 36 and 42 are capable of serving organisations as a central communication hub.

“These innovative devices are Konica Minolta’s first monochrome A4 MFDs that also offer A3 capability via a bypass tray, enhancing the flexibility for offices that rarely need A3 prints.”
