The printer manufacturer has updated its operations recovery efforts at its Thailand premises, investigating estimated impacts on business performance and damages.
Printer manufacturer OKI has released an update to its operations recovery effort at OKI Data Manufacturing (Thailand), a consolidated subsidiary of OKI, located at the Rojana Industrial Park in Ayutthaya Province.
OKI states that damages due to water exposure led to a temporary suspension of operations since 6 October. Although drainage of the facility has been complete, the OEM predicts
partial operations beginning as of 4 January 2012, with full-scale operations expected at the end of March 2012.
OKI has also stated its intention to investigate “the damage caused by the flood and its impact on the performance of OKI as a whole”, and “will advise the findings once it is judged there will be an important change in our business forecast”.
