Three accused of stealing toner cartridges from Staples stores across New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Brooklyn residents Ronnell Samuals, 27, Daquain Dollar, 24, and Kashif Trmaine, 20, have been arrested to suspicion of stealing hundreds of thousands of dollars of toner cartridges from Staples stores across multiple US states.

The New York Post and The Republic report that, according to police officials, the men targeted Staples branches in New Jersey; Connecticut; New Bedford, Massachusetts; and Nashua and Manchester, New Hampshire.

Police officials also state that the value of items stolen in the New Jersey thefts alone was in excess of $100,000 (€79,438). The accused are said to have used bags lined with foil designed to prevent store scanners from detecting the stolen merchandise.

The Boston Channel has updated its coverage of the arrest with an image of one of the accused.
