Online course to prepare technicians to efficiently troubleshoot and repair printers.

Imaging solutions company Parts Now has released a new online troubleshooting course that will enable technicians to learn how to repair the HP LaserJet 9000.

The 142 minute course addresses the technologies of the printer along with common maintenance issues, test modes and full tear-down. It is hoped that it will make it easier and more affordable for service providers to manage and maintain the devices as issues can be resolved quickly and effectively

Along with the LJ 9000, the LJ 9050 and LJ 9040 will also be covered by the course, which participants can access whenever is convenient for them. Parts Now instructors will also be available to help students via email and telephone.

The LJ 9000 launched in 2001 as a replacement for the LJ 8100/8150 series, but the transition took several years. Consequently, most service providers are said to have a number of these units at many of their accounts. Parts Now therefore believe that the online course will be beneficial to many trying to manage the devices.

The cost of the course is $400 (€325). More information can be found at www.partsnow.com
