HP releases six new printers in India

New Deskjet Ink Advantage printers announced by OEM.

Business Standards report’s on HP’s newly released printer range, which the company claims feature first-to-market technologies for mobile printing, including “wireless direct printing that does not require a network”.

According to the article, the six HP Deskjet Ink Advantage printers have been made available to meet the increased demand for printers in the home, with Nitin Hiranandani, Director, Printing Systems, PPS, HP India claiming that the inkjet printer market is growing by four percent and that the laser printer market is growing by six percent every year.

Hirananadani commented: “In printing, affordability is the key issue and our growing HP Deskjet Ink Advantage and Officejet portfolio will offer more affordable choices that allow our customers to print more at a lower cost without sacrificing quality or reliability. Also, the usage of printers in family is increasing due to changing education practices. It’s useful in printing school projects, documents for work, festival cards, photos from the digital camera.”
