Man already on parole is arrested for shoplifting HP ink cartridge.
Michael V. Coleman, a 29 year old parolee from Jonesboro, Arkansas, US was caught attempting to steal a HP ink cartridge from a local grocery store, reports local news website Craighead County.
The manager of the grocery store reportedly saw Coleman open a box containing the ink cartridge “with a pair of scissors” and then place it in his pocket, before fleeing the scene after being confronted by the manager.
Officer Hall, a local police officer who happened to be nearby witnessed Coleman “running directly towards him” and chased him “a short distance” until he surrendered.
Upon being captured and asked why he fled the scene, Coleman was reported to say “That guy said he was going to call the cops on me.” He has now been placed with a parole hold.
