Cartridge World franchises in Australia enjoy success

Jul 27, 2012

One of the franchise’s outposts in Queensland discusses the benefits of remanufacturing.

The Westerner reports on the growth of Cartridge World in Queensland, noting that three family-owned franchises in Albany Creek, Strathpine and Kallangur are “part of a series of 220 Cartridge World outlets across Australia”.

The franchises in Queensland as a result enjoy a “well-earned reputation for quality and customer service”, with Cartridge World Strathpine’s Ken Smith interviewed on how his franchise contributes to the Cartridge World ethos.

Smith noted that his business “offers expert advice” on selecting printers and consumables to customers, and noted that “not only can computer users reduce their impact on the environment” but that refilled cartridges “work out to be cheaper”.

Smith added: “For every 100,000 used cartridges recycled, we can save almost 9600kg of aluminium, 40 tons of plastic, and one million litres of oil. We can help customers to make substantial savings by refilling their empty printer cartridges rather than purchasing expensive original manufacturers products.

“Why buy brand new cartridges when you can help save the environment and your pocket?”
