New printers added to OEM’s line of LaserJet and ScanJet printers.

HP’s recently announced Value Enterprise Printers (VEP) are designed to meet the needs of businesses of all sizes in the Philippines, with “scalable solutions” allowing businesses to select printer models depending on the size of the company, reports the Manila Bulletin.

The HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 MFP M525 series is suggested as ideal for more networked environments that require control over workflows, with PIN protection and the ability to eliminate blank pages as well as the option for one-touch workflows using the eight inch colour touchscreen.

Meanwhile, the HP LaserJet Enterprise 500 Color MFP M575 series is recommended for larger businesses as it boasts “high-performance functions built to withstand heavy use”, network sharing options, duplex printing and the ability to print on different paper types and weights.

Both of these printers are designed to be environmentally friendly, with energy saving features such as Auto-On/Auto-Off and HP EcoSMART Fleet which allows users to collect data, create reports and control settings.

For businesses with “special imaging needs”, HP recommends its ScanJet Enterprise 7000 s2 and ScanJet Enterprise 8500 fn1 Document Capture Workstation, which offer scanning and high-speed, high-volume printing.

The first of these is particularly aimed at SMBs as it is the most compact of the new VEPs, boosts productivity and reduces costs with its low power consumption and “advanced scanning features”; whilst the Scanjet Enterprise 8500 fn1 Document Capture Workstation is reserved for larger businesses that perform large-scale image scanning tasks such as copying blueprints and digitising old records. The printer is able to scan documents up to 34 inches wide and is able to support different devices that allow shared scanning and printing over a network.
