Canon launches five large-format printers
OEM announces new imagePROGRAF printers with “precise colour management and excellent image quality”.
The newly available Canon iPF9400, iPF9400S, iPF8400, iPF6450 and iPF6400 large-format printers have been designed for use by photographers, artisan, proofers and print for pay users due to their “superb colour quality, colour consistency and output speeds”.
Each of the printers has been upgraded with the addition of several new features and functionalities, including a multi-sensor to improve accuracy and colour consistency, a colour calibration management console to execute and monitor the calibration and status of multiple printers on a network using one computer, and a media configuration tool allowing users to update and customise the printer drivers with new Canon and customer media information.
In addition, the printers are able to perform 60-inch borderless printing to appeal to imaging specialists and use 12 colours, with the exception of the iPF9400S which has the ability to print with eight colours.
