Polish distributor of UniNet products and producer of compatible cartridges bought by printing group.
Polish distributor SCOT has been acquired by the international printing group Black Point, reports Bankier, noting that with the two companies producing their own line of compatible inks, they were often “competitors in terms of markets and operational aspects”.
The acquisition has been announced as of 17 September 2012. In addition to its compatible line “Print”, SCOT also distributed OEM supplies and is the distributor of UniNet products in Poland. Black Point will hold a press conference for investors, analysts and media to present the machinations of the agreement and announce plans for the group.
As detailed on Interia PL, Black Point’s Kamila Yamasaki stated that the implementation of the two companies, citing benefits of synergy in both cost and revenue, will allow Black Point Group to compete more effectively on the Polish market.
