Cartridge and mobile collection company acknowledges its 15th anniversary with a celebration of the company’s achievements.
Deventer-based cartridge collection company Van Klaveren ccc has celebrated 15 years of successful business following its setup in 1997, with Managing Director Gerhard van Klaveren commemorating almost 25 million cartridges saved from landfill since the company’s inception.
Van Klaveren ccc has also been heavily involved in a number of charitable pursuits following the introduction of the Eeko programme and currently collects for 15 charities including Stichting Opkikker, ClinClowns and Hulphond Nederland.
“In the last 15 years, many memorable events [have] occurred. In 2000, for example, the charity programme launched with the cooperation of Stichting AAP, and in 2006 the collection programme Eeko was introduced, making the collection of mobile phones possible.”
Despite a global economic downturn, Gerhard van Klaveren states that the company’s services are increasingly popular: “Thanks to our different collection brands in The Netherlands and for Europe, we try to expand and last year we have set up a branch in France. At the moment, we are trying to see if we can enter other European markets to strengthen our position […] and ensure further growth […] For me, there is at least [another] 15 years to go.”
Van Klaveren ccc also recently received a visit from the Minister of Interior and Kingdom Relations Liesbeth Spies, who visited the Overijssel province to discuss issues and investments with citizens, managers and entrepreneurs.
