The company released colour toner for Brother cartridges and two sets of imaging component systems for HP consumable remanufacturing.
The colour toner for Brother is designed for the OEM’s HL-4570 toner cartridges, and is said to provide “print quality comparable to the OEM”. The toner is able to be used in the TN-310, 315, 320, 325, 328, 340, 348, 370, 375, and 378 cartridges, and in the HL-4140, 4150, 4570, DCP-9055, 9270, MFC-9460, 9465, 9560 and 9970 printers.
Static Control added that a shipping protector is also available for this toner, as well as high yield and extra high yield flag gears “to replace lost or damaged OEM flag gears”.
The company’s two HP releases this month are both imaging component systems for the OEM’s laser devices, with the first and most prominent a set of components for remanufacturing HP’s Colour Laserjet Enterprise CP4525, 4025 and CM4540 MFP cartridges.
The components released by Static Control include toner, an Odyssey drum with the company’s ZeroTwist technology, a wiper blade, chips, and a seal and shipping protector. The components are designed to “work together as a system” to “provide optimum performance and consistency”.
Ed Swartz, Founder and CEO of Static Control, noted of the release: “The HP CP4525 printer and cartridge are important, high volume/high profit opportunities for our customers worldwide. We have spent approximately two years in the development of our imaging components, and we are now ready to release toner, drum, wiper blade and chips in this first phase.
“The developer roller, doctor blade, adder roller and PCR will be available soon to complete the system. It is our goal to make complete colour imaging systems available as we believe this is the only way to assure consistent quality with every cartridge remanufactured.”
The other system released by Static Control is for the Laserjet Pro Colour 300 M351, M375, 400 M451 and M475 toner cartridges, with the same components as the other set, with the company noting that its engineers are “working to develop” a PCR, a toner adder roller and a doctor blade to the set in the next few months.
