The UK company has finished development of the toners, which are designed as alternatives for the OEMs’ cartridges.
The Samsung toner is designed for use in the OEM’s MLT-D205 S/L/E monochrome toner cartridges, with the S and L versions used in the ML-3310, SCX-4833 and SCX-5737 devices featuring a page yield of 2,000 and 5,000 respectively. The E version of the toner is specifically designed for use in the ML-3710 and SCX-5737 printers, with a page yield of 10,000 pages as per the standard five percent coverage per page.
The Brother toner is designed in turn for use in the TN-2220, TN-3230 and TN-3280 monochrome toner cartridges. The TN-2220 is suitable for use in Brother’s L-2240, HL-2250 and HL-2270 printers, featuring a page yield of 2,600; the TN-3230, used in the HL-5340, HL-5350, HL-5370 and HL-5380, features a yield of 3,000 pages; and the TN-3280 is a high yield cartridge used in the same devices as the TN-3230, with a yield of 8,000 pages.
The Brother printers are described by AQC as being “great for any size office”, and feature built-in automatic duplexing as well as a print speed of 30 ppm.
The company stated of the toners: “As with all AQC UK Products, the new replacement toners offer matched quality to the OEM. They are a perfect replacement for cartridge remanufacturers who are looking to offer their customers a cheaper alternative to the OEM without compromising on quality.”
