‘Responsible Line’ cartridges designed for use in majority of OEM printers.
Xerox has announced that it is introducing a new lineup of “environmentally responsible” remanufactured cartridges intended for use in non-Xerox printers.
Entitled the Responsible Line, Xerox states that the cartridges will be compatible with most OEM laser printers from Brother; Canon; Epson; HP; IBM; Konica Minolta; Kyocera; Lexmark; OKI and Panasonic.
The OEM claims among benefits are a potential cost saving of at least 50 percent, “excellent print quality from the first page to the last”, page yields “equivalent” to stated yields of OEM cartridges and a two-year guarantee on each cartridge.
The cartridges are said to be made using more than 90 percent of the original cartridges and are inspected using “an ISO 9001 certified remanufacturing process”.
Patrick de Jong, European Business Manager Xerox Document Supplies Europe, commented: “The cartridges are manufactured using the same high-quality standards Xerox uses for all its products. With our brand behind these cartridges, users can be confident of superior performance.”
