Despite exiting the inkjet printer market, Distribution Manager Matthew Lombardi remains upbeat on company’s future.
Distribution Manager for Kodak’s Document Imaging Solutions unit Matthew Lombardi has lamented the division’s necessary distancing from the Kodak Corporation following the OEM’s entry into Chapter 11 and the abandonment of its inkjet printer business although speaks on optimism regarding the division’s future, reports ITbusiness.ca.
Kodak has recently overhauled its document imaging offering, revamping its entire product line-up in the last two years, and Lombardi was keen to discuss opportunities for its channel partners, noting a number of recent channel initiatives including a Try Before You Buy programme and a deal registration programme.
Lombardi commented: “These are some of the hardest times for Kodak. We had to go through Chapter 11 and with that we needed to distance ourselves from the rest of the company […] the biggest benefit we have is our 25 plus years in the document imaging business. We are at the forefront of document imaging.”
