OEM outlines support for MPS programme, eligible for MSPs, VARs and stationery suppliers.
OKI has unveiled its new managed print services (MPS) partner programme in the UK, intending on providing services and support to vendors to enter the field, reports Channel Web.
MSPs, VARs and stationery suppliers wishing to add MPS to its portfolio will be eligible for the partner programme, with OKI intending to close knowledge gaps and allow vendors to provide a wider portfolio and prevent competitors from taking potential business.
OKI MPS Business Manager Rob Brown commented: “For many of these companies, MPS is a natural extension of their existing capabilities. However, they may lack the expertise, the right sales skills or the resources to offer the service to their clients.”
OKI will provide support on technical and sales training, marketing materials, access to demo units, on-site audits, business care development, savings estimations and flexible billing.
Brown continues: “This means one invoice from one service provider and one point of contact, instead of having to run print outside the corporate procurement process.”
