Chinese manufacturer awarded patent for inkjet cartridge, cleared as of 6 November 2012.

Chinese manufacturer Ninestar has been awarded a US patent for an inkjet cartridge.
Invented by Baoquan Chen, US patent number 8,303,097 is summarised as “an inkjet cartridge for an inkjet printer for solving the technical problems that the conventional detection mechanism of the ink cartridge of the inkjet printer is complex and low in reliability” and was cleared and granted on 6 November 2012.
Ninestar has recently celebrated a number of developments including the announcement that its patented non-twisted laser cartridge gear has been deemed “reliable both in quality and patent safety”, and the global launch of its Pantum printer.
