This year marks 10 years since Metrofuser started business as a remanufacturer and distributor of printer parts.
Metrofuser, a remanufacturer and distributor of printer parts based in Roselle, New Jersey, has announced that it will be celebrating its tenth year in the industry this year, with the company being established in 2003.
Beginning with the remanufacturing and distribution of HP laser printers, the company later expanded its product portfolio to include Lexmark printer parts and today continues to offer remanufactured parts for a range of colour, monochrome and multifunction printers.
Metrofuser has also expanded its operations in the US with the opening of its California-based distribution facility in 2006 to cut waiting times for its customers. It has also joined forces with regional and national carriers to expand its range of next-day ground coverage while keeping freight costs manageable.
Since 2008, Metrofuser has offered printer repair training classes, with Will DeMuth, COO of the company commenting that “it was an ideal way for us to support our current customers as well as expose our brand to new prospective customers”.
In addition, Metrofuser has seen rapid expansion in the remanufacturing of HP laser and multifunction printers, which it began to undertake in 2010, with the growing popularity of MPS being attributed to the demand for cost-effective and reliable printers.
Commenting on the company’s long-lived success, DeMuth added: “The two most important forces in our rapid development have been a superior team of professionals who care about keeping our customers happy and a maniacal obsession with improving and perfecting our quality. Many of our employees have been here for years, enabling us to create a core group of experienced technicians and managers whose dedication has allowed us to evolve and advance.”
