Remanufacturer announces double sales during second year of business, despite tough economic times.
California-based remanufacturer Commercial Cartridge Company (CCC) is celebrating its second anniversary, with the company announcing that its sales during the second year were approximately double that of the previous year, with revenue expected to increase significantly again in 2013.
CCC primarily remanufactures HP 45 based cartridges for the mailing and coding industries, but also distributes compatible Pitney Bowes metered mail cartridges, marketing its products as a private label supplier “to support the efforts of its customers rather than compete with them”.
The company was founded as a partnership between Don Newton, a former Sales Executive with Brother International, and Horge Neves, former General Manager at TBA Inkjets. Commenting on starting a business in the midst of an economic downturn, Newton said: “We felt there was a niche market we could serve and we knew our quality would be high. This gave us a fighting chance to be successful and thankfully it worked out to be true.”
