US remanufacturer expands line of replacement cartridges.
MSE has announced that it has released new Intelligently Re-Engineered cartridges for use in the HP CP5225 colour printer series, with the company claiming that many considered the HP 5500 series of cartridges (C9740A; C9731A; C9732A; and C9733A) to be the most challenging in market history due to various issues associated with them, including streaking, leaking and fuser wrapping with full bleed prints.
MSE states that its suite of technologies, including its Secondary Cleaning System (SCS), has helped to eliminate these problems, enabling the company to remanufacture a high-quality cartridge.
Yoel Wazana, President of MSE, commented: “The SCS is not just helpful in these new applications, we look at it as necessary. We have even seen toner additives build up in OEM benchmarking that improves after installing our SCS. In addition to the elimination of toner additive build up (TAB) defects, we have addressed fuser wrapping problems with custom, co-developed raw materials that allow for borderless printing, which is common in A3 applications.”
