Epson Workforce chosen as official printers for Oscar Credentials
OEM’s Workforce 60 printers selected for Oscar Credentials at 85th Annual Academy Awards.
Epson has announced that its Workforce 60 printers have been chosen by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, with the OEM’s printers consistently being selected by the organisation since 1999.
According to Epson, the printers were chosen due to its reliability “as it effortlessly prints thousands of credentials behind the scenes”, delivering single and double-sided pages at print speeds of 15 ISO ppm in black and 7.1 ISO ppm in colour for single sided prints and 7.4 ISO ppm in black and 4.7 ISO ppm for double-sided prints; with a 250 sheet input capacity.
Commenting on the decision, Deborah Cahn of EC Solutions, said: “Year after year, I rely on Epson printers to seamlessly print event credentials. As the credential vendor for the Oscars, I selected the Epson WorkForce 60 printers because they have proven to be the most reliable for the demanding job of printing thousands of borderless, colour credentials.”
