Components manufacturer invites global distributors to meeting at world headquarters in Sanford, North Carolina.
Static Control held its Annual Distributor Meeting last month, where those in attendance discussed products, promotions, sales opportunities, competitive challenges and industry issues; as well as receiving hands-on technical training.
Held over three days, the meeting also included tours of the company’s manufacturing, product testing and distribution facilities, while technicians and technical support personnel benefited from training from Static Control engineers in the company’s new 30,000 square-foot lab test facility, where they learnt about the latest technologies introduced by OEMs and the value-add technologies being developed by Static Control for the remanufacturing industry.
In addition, attendees were given presentations on marketing and sales initiatives for the upcoming year, with discussions on OEM actions targeting new build/clone ink and laser cartridge manufacturers, why the OEMs will win the war on clones, and steps Static Control is taking to protect genuine remanufacturers against clones.
Awards for top sales performances were presented to distributors Teko in Russia, Mirtex in Ukraine and Trascopier in Argentina; with the company’s distributor partners serving over 10,000 remanufacturers worldwide.
“Our industry is changing rapidly and our global partner organization is expanding,” said Juan Carlos Bonell, Vice President of Sales for Latin America and Distributor Markets at Static Control. “It’s critical that we come together this way to share ideas and information to meet the challenges ahead. We also want our partners to know that we will support them any way we can.”
Eloy Rios, owner of CAD TONER, a Static Control distributor in Mexico, said: “Being an exclusive distributor for Static Control is important, because it means that we are able to offer remanufacturers the very highest quality products available in the industry and also the very best in product support, inventory availability and distribution. Static Control helps us support remanufacturing for the long-term future, and it is one reason we’re seeing growth in so many markets around the world.”
