Patroner.se joins with travel agency to donate printers to schools in Nepal.
Patroner.se, a Swedish supplier of printers and printing supplies, has announced that it recently joined with Nepali trekking company Mountain Delights & Expedition to give away printers to two schools in remote villages in Nepal following a request from Mountain Delights & Expedition founder and team leader Ram Sapkota, who has been presented with a Surya Nepal Award in 2011 for his contribution in health, sanitation, electricity and education while uplifting the living conditions of villagers.
The four-in-one printers were donated to Mr Govinda of Tripura Sundari Higher Secondary School in Dhading District, Salyankot village; and Mr Chandra from Shree Shankar Devi Higher Secondary School, Dhading District, Jyamrung village.
Both schools had already been equipped with computers and are now said to be looking for solar solutions to help maintain a steady supply of electricity for the buildings.
