Apr 3, 2013

The company has launched toner and components for HP, Samsung and Okidata machines.hp700

The first release in the Absolute Colour range is a set of toner and components designed for use in HP’s Laserjet Enterprise 700 M775 MFP machine, which is a laser colour MFP with a print speed of 30ppm, and includes features such as an LED screen, 100-page document feeder and duplexing. The 651 cartridges, which are all-in-one, are rated at 13,500 pages for black and 16,000 pages for colour, with Uninet noting that it offers a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges.

The second release is toner and components for the Samsung CLP-680ND laser colour printer, which Uninet notes is a “recent release” with a print speed of 25ppm, a dual-core processor and all-in-one toner cartridges that it states “look very similar to HP cartridges”. The cartridges come in two versions – standard with a yield of 2,000 pages in back and 1,000 in colour; and high yield with 6,000 pages in black and 3,500 in colour.

Of the two Okidata releases, the first from Uninet is toner and components for the C530DN colour laser printer, which features print speeds of 31ppm in black and 27ppm in colour, and which, according to Uninet, is “designed for small workgroups where quality and speed are essential”.

The cartridges follow “the same cartridge design” as previous Okidata machines, with the standard yield toner rated at 3,500 pages in black and 3,000 in colour, whilst the high yield is rated at 4,000 in all four colours. Uninet adds that the drum has also been “newly designed”, with all four drums in a “single replaceable assembly”, and notes that it also offers a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges.

The final release this month is again for Okidata, this time for the C110 and C130 machines, which are “popular small footprint” colour printers rated at 20ppm in black and 5ppm in colour. Uninet adds that the devices are “targeted for home and small business colour applications”, with cartridges available in 5,000 pages for black and 1,500 or 2,500 pages for colour.

The drum unit is a single drum used for all colours, with Uninet adding that its “unique size” makes an aftermarket solution “unlikely. The company did add however that it has also made available a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges used in these devices.
