Ink manufacturer reports that over 2,500 kilograms of ink has been stolen from its warehouse.
Germany-based OCP has announced that a criminal investigation has been launched following the theft of more than 2,500 kilograms of ink from its warehouse over the last three to four months, with the stolen ink suspected to have been offered to the market.
The company has reported the crime to the criminal investigation department in Bochum, and says that “it is important for us to find the thief and to bring them to justice”. It is asking for anyone with information or who has been offered OCP inks by someone other than OCP or their regional distribution partners to come forward, offering a €5,000 ($6,500) reward for information which leads to the arrest of the criminals.
Anyone with information to assist the investigation should contact Carsten Edelmeier by emailing ce@ocp.de or calling +49 (0) 173 2876039.
