OEM selected by New York State for three-year contract for installation of colour and monochrome printers.
OKI Data Americas has announced that it has been selected as the primary contractor for New York State, claiming to be the “best value” bidder under the terms of the solicitation; with the contract including the awarding of ten different office equipment product categories for a range of workgroup printers and multifunction devices (MFDs) for both low and high-end markets.
The contract means that New York State must purchase printers and related devices from OKI Data, although it may purchase devices from the secondary contractor under special circumstances; with purchases of OKI Data products being made through the OEM’s authorised network of resellers and dealers.
Commenting on the selection of OKI Data by New York State, Curt Loxley, Regional Vice President of the Commercial/Public Sector Sales East Coast at OKI Data Americas, said: “OKI Data Americas is honoured to have been selected as Primary Contractor by New York State, and looks forward to servicing their agencies and other authorized contract users through the offering of our customized products and solutions.
“OKI Data is committed to bringing cost-effective and comprehensive printing solutions to our customers, and we look forward to working with New York State to meet their range of business printing needs.”
