Following a recent study by the National Association of Colleges and Employers stating that nearly 1.8 million new graduates are set to enter the job market this year, Cartridge World has decided to aid their job search by offering a free resume printing service.

New college graduates in North America will be able to bring their CV on a USB flash drive to their local participating Cartridge World store during May and June and print 15 to 25 copies of the document as long as it is no longer than two pages and printed in one colour.

Tom McLaughlin, Marketing Director of Cartridge World, said: “A successful job hunt starts with a great resume, and Cartridge World is here to help local grads get the job done right. We have 600 locally-owned Cartridge World stores across North America who understand the value of local networking and community support. ‘Keeping it local’ is a great place to start a job search – especially with the local chamber of commerce and business organizations.”

The franchise has also provided tips on resume writing, including the importance of providing employers with a hard copy version as well as a digital copy, choosing a universal font, providing a cover letter and making sure that the correct formatting is used for example putting references on a separate page and using bullet points for listing skills and achievements.
