Apex launches new cartridge chips

The chip manufacturer has released chips for Lexmark and Canon machines.

The chips are “first-to-market” according to Apex, and are all “OEM-sized and have used full system emulation design” to ensure similar performance. The first release is a chip for Canon’s IV series of toner cartridges, designed for use in the OEM’s Pixma ip 7230, 7240 and 7250 machines as well as the Pixma MG5430, 5440, 5450, 6330, 6340 and 6350 devices.

The second release meanwhile is for use in Lexmark’s 150, 150XL, 200 and 200 XL inkjet cartridges, which are used in the OEM’s Pro 715, 915, S315, S415, and S515 machines, as well as the Office Edge Pro 5500, 5500t, 4000, 4400 and 4400tt, with added compatibility with Dell’s V525w and V725w machines.
