The components distributor has launched new products for its Absolute Black, Absolute Colour and X Generation brands.
The Absolute Black toner and components are designed for Lexmark’s X 850, 852 and 854 MFP monochrome printers, with the X850e a “35ppm monochrome multifunction printer targeted at high volume applications” with a “recommended monthly usage of up to 40,000 pages”. The cartridges are “rated” at 30,000 pages and the drum cartridge at 48,000 pages, and Uninent notes that the cartridge is “easy to remanufacture” as the toner is refilled via a fill plug on the cartridge, and the company offers a complete remanufacturing solution.
The Absolute Colour toner and components are designed for Xerox’s Phaser 6700 colour printer, which features a print speed of 47 ppm and a duty cycle of 100,000 pages a month. The company notes the machine is “impressive” with standard duplexing, and the original cartridges come in yields of 7,100 pages for black and 5,000 for colour, with high capacity versions at 18,000 for black and 12,000 for colours. Separate, dedicated imaging units in turn are rated at 50,000 pages each.
Finally, the company’s X Generation colour toner brand has seen a new toner formula introduced for use in HP’s cp2025, 2320, 2020, 1525, 1518, 1215, CM1415, and 1312 printers, using either OEM or Uninet components. The company notes the new “multipurpose” formula features “higher gloss levels, improved fusing and colour matching characteristics” and is “by far the lowest cost solution when used on all OEM components”.
