Xerox to hire 400 services staff

Your4State.com reports that Xerox will hire 400 people to work at its US facility in Frostburg, Maryland as it expands its document services business, with 50 percent of the company’s $22 billion (€17 billion) revenue reportedly generated by its services segment.

The article states that the positions will help the OEM to “provide customer care for healthcare entities”, and that there has been a significant amount of interest in the jobs, with Xerox’s Keira Schillinger commenting: “It’s been steady. We have seen it grow a lot over the past couple of days. We have a lot of friends of friends asking and a lot of interested people coming in and out of the building.”

Company officials added that the addition of 400 Xerox jobs would have a “positive impact on the local economy”.
