The components distributor has launched new products in its Absolute Color, X Generation and Absolute Black ranges.
The first of two Absolute Color product releases is for Samsung’s CLX 8380 MFP colour laser printers, with toner and components now available. Uninet refers to the printer as a “high-speed” colour MFP with speeds of up to 40ppm, as well as noting it is a “wide-format printer targeted to networked colour printing applications”.
The device features toner cartridges rated at 20,000 pages for black and 15,000 pages for colour, with the drums rated at 30,000 pages, and Uninet noted that it has made a “complete remanufacturing solution” available for the cartridges used in the printer.
The second Absolute Color release is for the Dell C3760 colour printer series, which Uninet notes is a “newly released single function” device with print speeds of 36ppm and mobile printing capabilities. The original cartridges feature yields of 3,000, 7,000 and 11,000 pages in black, and 3,000, 5,000 and 9,000 pages in colour, with Uninet offering drums as a “kit” including four drums, one for each colour, and rated at 55,000 pages.
The company’s first of two X Generation range release is glossy toner and components for use in Okidata’s C830 colour printer, another wide-format model “capable of printing at 30ppm on anything from a postcard to a 52” long banner”, according to Uninet, which added that the “outstanding colour reproduction” of the devices is supported by toner cartridges rated at 8,000 pages and drum units at 20,000 pages. The company offers a complete remanufacturing solution for this device as well.
The second X Generation release is toner for HP’s CP4525, with added compatibility for the HP CP4025, 3525, CM 3530, 4540 MFP, M551 and M575 devices, with Uninet stating that the new toner release is a “new multipurpose formula featuring higher gloss levels, improved fusing, and colour matching characteristics to mimic the performance” of new printers from HP.
The company added that the toner is “by far the lowest cost solution when used on all OEM components”, stating that “just like most Uninet toners […] this formula does not cause excessive wear on critical components such as the doctor blade or rollers as seen on other aftermarket toners”, with a complete remanufacturing solution again offered for these cartridges.
Finally, there is one release for the Absolute Black range, with a toner designed for use in HP’s 1320 but featuring cross-compatibility with a wider range of HP devices, including: the HP 3005; 3015; 2400; 2300; 1300; 1200; 1160; 1100; 1022; 1020; 1018; 1015; 1012; and 1010. The company noted that this toner “is a new high quality and competitively priced multipurpose formula featuring excellent density similar to OEM”, and that it has been qualified “with OEM, SuMMiT and UniDrum OPC aftermarket drum[s]”. The toner features the same capabilities as the CP4525 toner, and a complete remanufacturing solution is also available.
