Focus on Europe concludes with day of discussions

The conference is taking place at Fleming’s Hotel Vienna Westbahnhof in Vienna, Austria, and the event, officially focused on remanufacturing in Europe today, saw discussions yesterday of the ISO/IECJTC1 DC28 standard for the supply industry, as well as the ETIRA AGM, opportunities to meet sponsors and speakers, and a cocktail reception and networking dinner.

Today’s events began at 09.00, with talks from Infotrends’ Andrew Carroll on business inkjet; TÜV Rheinland’s Bernd Rippel on DIN quality standards; Integral’s Gustav Hagemann on new REACH controls; MSE’s Mark Dawson and Luke Goldberg on value over price and clone insights respectively, Triton’s Colin Davison on European remanufacturing;, Static Control’s Ken Lalley on intellectual property, clones and the industry; and The Recycler’s David Connett on the true cost of the empty.
