Former Lasertech, PrinterManagement and The Green Printer Company employee sets up own business specialising in managed print services.
Mike Astbury, an industry veteran with 10 years of experience in the office supplies industry, has announced that he has formed a new MPS company, Costa Copy, with business partners Stefan Sanderson and Mark Walker that he said will offer a wide range of flexible solutions whilst trying to provide a green offering with refurbished printers and remanufactured toner cartridges.
The company will also offer one-off printer servicing and repairs on top of its contracted maintenance packages, and will operate in Eccles, Manchester.
“There is a fast growing market for our services which will not only help to secure business but improve margins and provide additional cross selling opportunities that would not otherwise be possible,” Astbury said. “We aim to supply office product dealers up and down the country with our bespoke flexible solutions to help them to compete with photocopier contracts that seem to be ever increasing.
“The experience I have gathered over the last 10 years should provide me with the expertise required to operate a business through both good and bad times and it is certainly a challenge that I am very keen to take on.”
