The toner designed for use in printing cheques (MICR) will see release from Indian Toners soon. 
ITDL have announced that they will be producing Magnetic Ink Character Recognition Toner, a specialized variant of toner that is commonly used by banks to write and clear cheques. The toner will be available to users of the entire HP range of printers, and follows the trend of MICR toner being developed across the industry.
The extensive HP range of printers includes the HP 4000 and the LJ 9000 series. The company said that if interest is displayed, “we will send you our best offer, followed by samples for testing”.
ITDL also offered to send further details on the technology used in MICR toner, claiming they “have developed a world-class product with excellent results”.
