Two local businesses in East Lancashire, UK partner to offer customers printer cartridges and cartridge refilling services.

Bury-based PC and Laptop Services, which has provided customers with computer sales and repairs for a number of years, will now be able to offer its customers printing solutions courtesy of Cartridge World in East Lancashire following the two companies joining forces.

Customers of PC Laptop and Services will now have the opportunity to purchase printer cartridges, specialty photo papers and associated accessories, provided by Cartridge World, which will also offer a cartridge refilling service.

The East Lancashire Cartridge World store is owned by Darren and Nyreen Turner, with Darren commenting: “Initially we just started out with the idea of PC and Laptop Services being able to supply a selection of cartridges, papers and accessories to their customers, directly off the shelf. But, after discussion with Laurence Elbury, owner of PC and Laptop Services, and thinking about the situation in a little more detail, we both decided that his customers would also benefit from a printer cartridge refilling service, which is more cost effective for the customer and much better for our environment.”

Laurence Elbury, owner of PC and Laptop Services, said: “Allowing my residential customers to simply drop their printer cartridges off at the store for refilling and then simply picking them up the following day, is a great service and for business customers we will even collect and deliver direct to their premises for free, which will save them time and money.

“I am really excited about our new partnership with Cartridge World and firmly believe our customers will embrace the new service that we now offer, whether that’s just to buy a product off the shelf or helping our environment by using the printer cartridge refill service, which will also save them a little extra money.”
