Darren Turner, of Cartridge World Accrington, received a Special Recognition Award at Cartridge World’s recent Focus on the Franchise event.

The Bolton News reports on a Cartridge World franchisee’s appreciation of an award given to him by the company in recognition of his work on behalf of the franchise.

Darren Turner, who bought Cartridge World Accrington in 2004, received a Cartridge World Special Recognition Award at the Focus on the Franchise event that took place in Harrogate in July for the work he has done to help the franchise both in and out of work time.

John Richardson, Chairman of Cartridge World, explained: “We selected him because of his fantastic contributions. As well as running successful franchises, he works with a number of Cartridge World steering groups which help drive the whole network. As well as work time, this means giving up his free time too. We really appreciate that and his award is well deserved.”

Commenting on his achievement, Turner said: “I really appreciate receiving this award. I’ve been a franchisee for over 10 years and have learnt that to grow you’ve got to move with the market.

“I enjoy sharing my knowledge and experience for the benefit of others. That’s why I believe in giving a bit back to the network and fellow franchisees, because success breeds success.”

The Recycler has recently reported on a number of business ventures Turner’s Cartridge World store has been involved with, including its partnership with local company J L Group to launch Cartridge World Printing Solutions; and the store joining forces with another East Lancashire business, PC and Laptop Services, to offer more services to customers.
