The event in September will have a focus on seminars and one-to-one meetings.
Paperworld China, which is set to take place at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from 25 to 27 September, is now attracting “prominent” brands and companies, including the Chinese stationery brand Shanghai M&G. The event as this point has more than 500 exhibitors registered from across the world, with pavilions earmarked for different nations at the event as well.
Stating that “experts [will] share their diverse industry advice about retail challenges and market trends”, the show’s organisers Messe Frankfurt stated that seminars and forums will allow visitors to “share information and their experiences”, with a retail forum taking place on the first day that will address challenges faced by Asian stationery retailers, as well as a talk about the stationery and office supplies market in Russia.
The organisers added that “to enhance sourcing efficiency” during the event, one-to-one business meetings “can be arranged” with suppliers and exhibitors, with the ninth Paperworld China event held “concurrently” with Interior Lifestyle China, an event that focuses on lifestyle and household products, with the two events offering buyers “a larger range of products to choose from”. The event will also feature a number of remanufacturing industry companies, with a section of the show held under the Remanexpo brand.
M&G CEO Johnson Chen, stated: “Through exhibiting at Paperworld China, M&G can strengthen its brand influence in China and internationally. The new items developed by M&G are user-friendly, offer value-for-money and are stylish. We are the trend creator for the stationery industry.”
