Darren and Nyreen Turner, owners of a Cartridge World store in East Lancashire, have developed a printing solution for their business customers aimed at saving them time otherwise spent on print-related issues.

Named Sprintwise, the service has been developed by the Turners for “many months” and is tailored to the client; managing their print and document infrastructure and ensuring that they have the right combination of fully-functioning supported hardware and software for their business needs.

Darren Turner explained: “For years, many businesses have lost productivity and money, through having to manage and support their own printing infrastructure, which is not core to their business but is something that is needed to support their business and if managed correctly, it is an area that can help them reduce costs and grow their business.

“Based on this information, my idea was to develop a solution, which took the hassle away of having to manage their own printing infrastructure, whilst giving our customers the ability to invest in the very latest technology that could act as a catalyst for both reducing printing costs and enabling business growth.”

Nyreen Turner added: “As well as support, capital outlay on new infrastructure can be a real struggle for businesses, especially in the current climate. Sprintwise can also help with this, as no up-front investment is required and the cost of the hardware, software, support and consumables are all wrapped up into a simple cost per page printed. There are no hidden charges, so businesses can easily control and manage what they are spending on print related activities.”

Darren Turner recently won a Special Recognition award at Cartridge World’s Focus on the Franchise event in July for the work he has done for the franchise both in and out of working hours, including working with a number of Cartridge World steering groups.

The Recycler has also recently reported on a number of business ventures Turner’s Cartridge World store has been involved with, including its partnership with local company J L Group to launch Cartridge World Printing Solutions; and the store joining forces with another East Lancashire business, PC and Laptop Services, to offer more services to customers.
