The two devices have been launched by OKI Systems UK to “grow [its] share of [the] enterprise and large workgroup market”, and are said to be “high-productivity” machines. The two printers are A4 monochrome laser devices that utilise OKI’s LED technology, and feature eco-friendly features alongside “highly flexible media handling capabilities”.
The B721dn features print speeds of 47ppm and toner cartridges with a yield of 18,000 pages, whilst the B731dnw has higher print speeds of 52ppm and a larger toner cartridge with a yield of 36,000 pages. Both printers also have an optional 2,000 page large-capacity paper feeder, whilst the B731dnw also has wireless connectivity.
The new machines also feature standard duplex printing, quiet modes, toner saving modes and lower power consumption, and incorporate “enterprise-class productivity benefits” that include an optional 160GB hard drive and secure networking features.
Graham Lowes, Marketing Director for OKI Systems UK, stated: “The new B700 Series offers the ideal combination of flexibility, security, high productivity and value for those organisations looking for better performance in meeting their business critical A4 printing requirements.”
