OEM announces opening of centre at its European headquarters in Esslingen, Germany on 23 September.
Kyocera’s new inkjet printhead design centre will be opened to provide technical support in the optimisation of customers’ printing systems which use the company’s printheads.
The OEM’s business customers will be able to visit the centre to test and evaluate print quality under a number of conditions with their particular media, finding the right solution for their individual needs to gain a competitive advantage.
Shigeru Koyama, President of Kyocera’s European Operations, commented: “Our new centre is one of the most advanced of its kind. We not only have highly specialized staff, but also the capacity to develop new inkjet technology applications.”
Kyocera stated that it currently offers a “wide variety” of inkjet printhead solutions; all of which feature the piezo actuator as their core component. This includes what the company claims to be the “world’s fastest” 300dpi printhead as well as the “world’s fastest” 1200 x 1200dpi KJ4B printhead.
