The largest manufacturer of aftermarket imaging systems and components will sponsor the R3 conference in October.
The event, which will also include a “mini-expo”, will be held in the Top Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic on 21 and 22 October 2013, and calls itself the aftermarket’s “first clone-free trade show”. Static’s presence at the event will include a talk from Ken Lalley, European Sales Director. Other talks at the show come from MSE’s Mark Dawson and contributors from Lexmark, ETIRA and CRRA.
Simon Grimes, Global Sales Manager for Eastern Europe at Static Control, stated: “We continue to support any cartridge association or event that is prepared to join us in the fight against clones, and were impressed by the stand taken by the organisers of R3. We look forward to sponsoring the show and helping to spread the message of the dangers faced with regard to clone cartridges.”
The event theme is the “genuine cartridge remanufacturing industry”, with a focus on companies “from component manufacturers to resellers of remanufactured printing supplies”, with attendees said to be able to “learn about the economic, environmental and legal issues surrounding the clone industry”.
