The franchise has opened up office services to local residents and business.

The franchise, located in three venues in Rawtenstall, Accrington and Blackburn, has launched the service for its local community, allowing customers to print documents up to A3 size and “any volume [of] print, copy scan and email and faxing services”.

The East Lancashire franchise, run by Darren Turner, previously developed a print management solution called ‘Sprintwise’, which Turner notes “provides office bureau-type services for an agreed cost per page printed”, and which The Recycler previously reported on.

Turner noted in turn: “This new service is an extension of Sprintwise, but instead of providing the service on our clients’ premises, we are doing it from our own location and anybody, both residential and business customers, can come in or email us to use the new service.”

The service has been added to the Supplies and Printing Solutions portfolio for the three stores. The East Lancashire franchise previously also joined forces with two other local IT and consumables businesses to offer better services to customers – the two companies being J L Group and PC and Laptop Services.
