The distributor’s releases are for Samsung, Brother, HP and Kyocera toner cartridges.
The first product launch, in the company’s Absolute Black range, is multipurpose black toner formula MLU-1, for use in Samsung’s ML, SCX and SF monochrome printers. The toner is said to be qualified for use in over 80 machines within the OEM’s three ranges, and notes that “as most remanufacturers know, toners released for newer machines will often work backward with older models”.
The toner is polyester-based, and is said by Uninet to be “by far the lowest cost solution when used on all OEM components”, featuring “OEM-type densities, yields and fusing properties”, as well as being qualified to work with Uninet’s SuMMiT OPC drums for over three cycles. The distributor also offers a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges using the toner.
Another toner release in the Absolute Black range was for toner formula and components for use in Kyocera’s FS-4200, TK3124, 3122 and 3120 monochrome machines. The FS-2400, a “recently released” monochrome device, is rated at 52ppm, and is said by Uninet to be “targeted at high volume printing applications where low cost per page performance is paramount”. The company added that “just like most Kyocera machines, only toner is normally required”, with TK3100, 3110 and 3130 cartridges compatible with the FS-4200.
The second launch comes for Uninet’s X Generation range, and is colour toners and components for use in Brother’s HL-3140 and 3170 machines, said to be the replacements for its older HL-3040 and 3070 devices. The newer printers have print speeds of 19ppm and 23ppm respectively, though “most other features remain the same”, with the toner cartridge design “similar” to the original printers using a “different reset lever system”.
Starter cartridges for the printers can be converted into standard or high yield consumables “by adding the correct reset levers”, Uninet added, noting in turn that it also offers a complete remanufacturing solution for the cartridges.
The company also launched two new products outside of its toner ranges. The first is Universal Soft PCR rollers for use in HP’s P2055, 4000 and P1005 printers, which are designed to work “on multiple printer series and offer great and competitive prices”, as well as the possibility of “reducing inventory and the benefit of working on more than 40 engines altogether”.
The second individual product is ASIC Encrypto smartchips, for use in a wide range of Samsung printers in the ML, SCX and Xpress ranges. The chips, Uninet stated, feature “all the benefits” of the ASIC encryption technology to match “the look, technology and functionality of OEM chips”. The chips are also said to have a “hassle-free, no components” SoC (system on a chip) technology, making them “more dependable than chips relying on various components, thereby reducing margin of error”.
