cartridge worldOwners of new cartridge franchise in Rio Grande, New Jersey, discuss plans and past experience in the industry.

PressofAtlanticCity reports that a new Cartridge World franchise has opened in Rio Grande, Middle Township, New Jersey, owned by Tom and Debbie Rippman of Cape May.

The store will sell all major brands of original and remanufactured ink and toner cartridges, and is one of around 600 cartridge World franchises in the USA, with the company claiming to save customers up to 30 percent on printer supplies and offering free delivery to local businesses.

Discussing his decision to set up the Cartridge World franchise in Rio Grande, Tom Rippman said: “I have 20 years of sales experience as a top performer in the printer industry, with Lexmark, Xerox and Oki Data. Among honours I received were sales representative of the year.

“It was a natural and easy fit for me to become the owner and operator of Cartridge World of Rio Grande. I always wanted to have my own business and be responsible for my business results, and control my own destiny.”

He added: “As an expert, I continue to provide advice on printers, all-in-ones, copiers, ink and toner.

“We moved to the area about 15 years ago. I had done a lot of business traveling and it was time to settle down. Debbie worked in public accounting for more than 20 years, for a large accountancy in the region and others in Philadelphia.”

Regarding the future of the business, Rippman said: “We plan to grow and [have] seen an opportunity to open another store and add employees. I’m also looking to give back to the community and be a responsible business owner.”
