(http://industryanalysts.com/konica-minolta-launches-bizhub-754e654e-series/) reports on the release of the bizhun 754e and 654e by Konica Minolta, featuring the “intuitive” INFO-Palette design and integrated software solutions for general as well as specialised print environments.
The printers are able to reach output speeds of up to 75ppm for the 754e and 65ppm for the 654e, with both models offering standard single pass, dual side scanning at up to 180 originals per minute. They are also compatible with the OEM’s bizhub OP (Open Platform) technology for easy integration with line-of-business software, with users able to benefit from direct on-screen control.
A wide range of paper sizes and weights can be used with the MFPs, which both feature four standard paper drawers totalling a 3,650-sheet capacity, as well as “modular, scalable finishing options”.
In terms of security, the printers are designed to meet ISO 15408 and IEEE 2600.1 security standards, with a number of standard safeguards available, including Biometric Authentication, input for IC Cards, Magnetic Stripe Cards and support for CAC/PIV Card systems for the US Federal Government; as well as bizhub SECURE which allows for lock-down options.
