The OEM’s UK subsidiary has launched the MB700 series after the success of the MC700 range earlier this year.
OKI Systems UK stated that the new range is aimed at “build[ing] on the success” of the MC700 A4 colour MFPs released earlier this year. The new printers are monochrome MFPs that feature sXP (smart extendable platform) technology, which offers “enhanced workflow integration and document management” for businesses through the machines.
The devices include the MC760dn, MC770dn, MC780dfn, MB760dn, MB770dn and MB770dfn, and are said by OKI to provide “advanced technology, functionality, security and flexibility”, with businesses able to select the “model and options specific to their business needs”. Other features include “remote diagnostics and document output controls”, with staplers included as standard for production finishing, whilst the dfn machines have an internal finished for automated collation.
Each of the printers uses OKI’s LED printing technology, as well as a 23-centimetre touch screen, and print speeds range from 40ppm on the MC780 to 52ppm on the MB770, with duplexing, a 160GB hard drive and advanced security features adding to the ranges’ utilities.
Andrew Hall, Marketing Manager at OKI Systems UK, stated: “Our new portfolio of A4, colour and mono MFPs extends this successful approach to the larger workgroup and enterprise market. This is down to a combination of enterprise-class functionality, security and flexibility, backed by comprehensive document workflow support.
“In selecting the most appropriate print solution, some organisations will focus on improving productivity and efficiency, whereas others may focus on controlling print usage or an environmentally-friendly solution with low running and maintenance costs. Whatever the priorities of the individual business, OKI’s highly flexible range of mono and colour MFPs can be tailored to meet each of these diverse demands.”
